By submitting a booking request on the www.legrazieassisi.com website, the customer expressly agrees to the general terms and conditions as set-out, which are considered an integral part of the booking as supplemented by the applicable legislation in force.
The Hotel Le Grazie’s internal Rules and Regulations are drawn up to ensure a uniform, orderly, peaceful and serene use of the facility in the interests of all. They are contractual in nature and set out the terms of agreement between Hotel Le Grazie and the Guest. Therefore, the request to stay at the Hotel and the acceptance of this request by Hotel Le Grazie implies the total agreement of the Guest to these Regulations.

When making a reservation, the customer assumes full and sole responsibility for the truthfulness and accuracy of the data provided. Any inaccuracies may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Our reception desk is at your disposal for information and quotations and any needs you may have.
For information, you can contact the hotel reception and management by phone, e-mail or in person. Reservations can be made by sending a written request by e-mail to info@legrazieassisi.com, or directly on the website www.legrazieassisi.com.
The booking request must state the number and type of rooms required, name, surname, date of arrival, date of departure, number of adults and children, age of children (in order to be able to offer tailor-made quotes for different needs), telephone number and e-mail address for any communications. Please also indicate your estimated time of arrival, if known.
To confirm the reservation, unless otherwise stated, the credit card details of the person making the reservation are required as a booking guarantee. The hotel will verify the credit card details by pre-authorisation of the amount equivalent to the total amount of the stay.
The reservation is also considered valid in the case of a deposit by bank transfer, provided that it has been previously agreed with the reception office, and that the name, period and duration of stay, address and telephone number of the sender are specified.
Reservation requests must be received in writing only (by e-mail or through the booking system at www.legrazieassisi.com) and will be considered final only after receiving written confirmation from the hotel;
Reservations must be guaranteed by the payment of a confirmatory deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay by bank transfer or be guaranteed by Visa or Mastercard.
Yes, at the time of booking and in order to confirm the room, a credit card guarantee of the reservation is required (i.e. a guarantee in the event of late cancellation and/or modification beyond the permitted terms and in the event of no-show).
You will be asked for details of a credit card, Visa or Mastercard, your e-mail address and a telephone number where we can contact you.
Confirmation: The bookings we receive by e-mail will be processed and confirmed by our reservations department within a maximum of 24 hours. The reservation is considered provisional until you receive confirmation from the hotel. Please always check the receipt of our confirmation to avoid mistakes.
Bookings by e-mail: Please note that all correspondence transmitted by e-mail is considered to all intents and purposes to be documentation that meets legal requirements.
Packages: No services included in the package purchased will be reimbursed in the event of non-use. The payment of the package must be made upon arrival and for the entire period of stay.
The booking includes the requested services according to the rate plan chosen at the time of booking, as stipulated in the booking terms and conditions. Hotel VAT is always included, while local tourist tax never is – see ‘Tourist tax’ section.
The price of the stay includes morning cleaning (at scheduled times), breakfast and any other meals purchased (see section “not consumed meals”).
It does NOT include: any additional cleaning, beverages, drinks at the bar, consumptions from the minibar, drinks at the restaurant not included in the offer, equipment rental and use if not explicitly stated in the offer, damage to persons or property, and anything else not specified in the offer.
The cancellation policy varies depending on the selection of the rate plan.
– Pay Now rate, non-refundable. The total amount of the reservation will be charged right away after booking and is non-refundable in case of cancellation, change of reservation or no-show.
– Flexible rate, life happens, we get that. If you cancel or change your reservation up to 7 days prior to arrival, no fees will be charged.
If you cancel 7 to 4 days prior to arrival, you will be charged 50% of the total amount of your stay.
Less than three days prior to arrival the cancellation fee will be 100% of the total amount of the stay.
If you change or cancel your reservation after the set time limits or you do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the total amount of your stay.
ANY CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING AND WILL BE RECEIVED BY E-MAIL ONLY.
In the event of cancellation, please send an e-mail to info@legrazieassisi.com specifically mentioning your reservation references (date, name, room type).
Cancellations by telephone or in person (verbally) are not accepted.
The cancellation will only be valid upon receipt of our written acknowledgement.
The hotel reserves the right to apply a cancellation fee as per the Cancellation Policy indicated below:

Special periods and events:
During so-called special periods (New Year’s Eve, Easter or special events in the area, etc.) a minimum number of nights will be required for the stay, and the cancellation policy may vary for all reservations.
All special events will be notified to you in advance at the time of booking.
Any reductions in the length of stay after confirmation of the booking are considered and handled as cancellations.
In case of early departure, the total amount for the entire duration of your reservation will be charged.
In case of cancellation (or change) after the set time limits, you will be charged a cancellation fee, as per the hotel’s cancellation policy. This charge is a penalty and not a payment, therefore it is not possible to occupy the room.
In case of cancellation or changes on the day of arrival, payment for the entire stay will be required.
Reservations made within 3 days prior to arrival cannot be cancelled or changed.
In case of no-show, you will be charged a penalty equalling the amount of the entire stay.
No discount or refund will be offered if you decide not to take up breakfast or any other meal.

Standard deposit conditions:
A valid credit card is required for the booking to be valid and guaranteed.
No deposit is charged at the time of booking.
Payment is made upon departure.
Non-refundable deposit conditions:
A valid credit card is required to charge the total cost of your stay. The charge is made at the time of booking and cannot be refunded in anyway.
The transaction will be charged in euro regardless of the customer’s country of origin.
Guests wishing to receive an invoice for their stay are requested to inform us at the time of booking as well as promptly provide the details for the invoice. Failing this, the hotel will issue a nominative tax receipt that cannot be cancelled.
Each reservation requires a credit card number as a guarantee. In some cases, in order to confirm the reservation, the hotel requires a pre-authorisation on the credit card provided by the customer. Pre-authorisation is not a purchase. It consists of checking the validity of the credit card and temporarily places a hold on an amount to guarantee the reservation.
Should this pre-authorisation fail, we unfortunately will be obliged to consider the reservation invalid.
In the event of cancellation after the set the time limits, the hotel is authorised to collect; in case of no cancellation fee the hotel will release the pre-authorised amount.

Personal cheques are not accepted. It will be possible to pay by non-transferable bank draft by prior agreement at the time of booking with the reception office.
PLEASE NOTE: The holder of the reservation and the credit card used for payment must match. Upon arrival at the hotel you may be asked to show the credit card with which you made the payment. In the event of a mismatch, you may be asked to pay the total amount of your reservation upon arrival at the hotel.
The room will be available from 2 p.m. on the date of arrival. The rooms allocated before this time are subject to availability. Please take this into account should you arrive before 2 p.m.
Please vacate your room by 10:30 a.m.
Departures after this time are subject to a Late Check-Out charge of € 30.00.
Departures after 2 p.m. are subject to an additional night’s charge per occupied room.
NB: In the event of different needs, the reception staff must be informed at the time of booking.
Should guests arrive late at night, especially after midnight, they are kindly requested to notify the hotel prior to their arrival.
Identification documents: Upon arrival, guests must be provided with identification documents, including minors. Otherwise, the operator must refuse hospitality (art. 109 of the public safety laws as amended by art. 7 point 2 of Law 203/95).
The Municipality of Assisi has introduced a tax to be borne by non-residents staying in hotels and other accommodation facilities located in the municipal area. The amount of the tax for 3-star hotels, such as Hotel Le Grazie, is set at € 1.50 per person per night (for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights), except for children under 12 years of age, for whom the tax is not due. The tax must be paid directly at the hotel.
THE HOTEL HAS NO SMOKING ROOMS, SO SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ALL AREAS OF THE HOTEL AND ESPECIALLY IN THE ROOMS.
Smoke detectors are installed in all rooms, corridors and common areas. Any offenders who set off the fire alarm will immediately be reported to the public authorities and charged with “procured alarm” and will face civil and criminal charges for their conduct in the appropriate forum.
Hotel Le Grazie is a non-smoking hotel and therefore the smoking ban is extended to all rooms and common areas. The customer is obliged to avoid behaviour that may harass other customers. Smoking is only permitted in the open-air spaces reserved for smoking customers. Each time the smoking ban is not observed, the offender will be fined € 300.00. In the event of repeated violation of this prohibition, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract and ask the customer to leave the premises, while still demanding the balance of the amounts due.
By booking, you agree to receive one or more e-mails before your arrival date, containing the booking confirmation and any information on your destination, various tips and offers related to your booking and destination, and an e-mail after your stay asking for your opinion on Hotel Le Grazie.
Neither we nor any of our partners, managers, employees and representatives shall be liable to you or to any natural or legal persons connected or related to you except for direct and immediate damages actually suffered and paid as a direct consequence of a breach of our obligations in providing the services we should have provided to you.
Compensation (including the cost of legal assistance) shall in any case be limited to the total amount of the cost of your reservation as stated in the confirmation e-mail (regardless of whether it is a single circumstance or a set of related circumstances).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, neither we nor any of our partners, managers, employees, representatives, consultants, licensees, agents or persons involved in the production, sponsorship, promotion or publication of the website and its content shall be liable for: (i) for any loss or punitive, special, indirect or consequential damages, for any loss of production, profit, income, contract, for injury or damage to good name and reputation or for loss of right, ii) for the inadequacy of the (descriptive) information of our services made available on our website (iii) for services provided or products offered on our website, (iv) for damages (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive), losses or costs incurred and paid due to the inability to use or delay of our website, but consequential to or in connection with its use, or (v) for personal, property or other damages (direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive), for losses or costs incurred and paid for (legal) actions, errors, breaches, fault and (gross) negligence, wilful misconduct, omissions, misrepresentation, contractual, non-contractual or strict liability for an unlawful act attributable (in whole or in part) to an external agency you have used to book any of our services. Under no circumstances can Hotel Le Grazie, nor any of its partners, managers, employees and representatives be held liable for damage, loss or theft of property of guests (Guests) during their stay.
Internet and/or TV services may not be available during your stay due to technical problems beyond the control of Hotel le Grazie. The Internet service provided may also not be compatible with your computer’s operating system or configuration.
In the above cases, Hotel le Grazie cannot be held liable for any damage or loss or costs due to such technical problems.
These Terms and Conditions, as well as the provision of our services, are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Italian law; any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions and our services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Perugia, Italy, without prejudice to the application of mandatory rules of law on the consumer’s jurisdiction. The original Italian text of these Terms and Conditions may have been translated into other languages. The translated version is unofficial and for illustrative purposes only and therefore has no legal value. In case of disputes or contradictions or discrepancies between the Italian text and translations in other languages of these Terms and Conditions, the Italian text shall prevail and be decisive. The English text is available on our website (by selecting the English language) or will be sent upon written request. In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, loses its validity, is or becomes unenforceable, you shall continue to be bound by all other provisions set forth herein In that case, we will replace the aforementioned clause with one that is valid and binding, has an effect as similar as possible to that of the replaced clause and which you accept in accordance with the content and purpose of these Terms and Conditions.
The Terms and Conditions set out herein – and any subsequent amendments and additions – apply to all our services made available online, directly or indirectly (through distributors), via any mobile device, by e-mail or by telephone. By accessing and visiting our website, and/or by using any of the applications available through any of the platforms (hereinafter referred to as the “website”), and/or by making a reservation, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions contained herein (including the privacy policy), also pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code.
